Presentation

The Workshop in Blockchain intends to integrate researchers and developers from academia and industry interested in researching and developing blockchain applications. There are many challenges related to this topic: security, privacy, storage, data availability and integrity, performance improvement, scalability, sustainability, economy, and others. Researchers and developers are invited to present their results in technical full papers or expanded abstracts with industry experience reports.

Instructions to Authors

Submitted papers will be evaluated by peer reviewers from the Wblockchain Technical Program Committee. Selected papers will be organized for presentation and publication in the proceedings of the event. At least one of the authors of each selected paper must register in the SBRC 2021 and IV Wblockchain and attend the event to present the paper.

Papers submission will be exclusively electronic through JEMS. Papers can be written in Portuguese or English, only in PDF format. Each paper is limited to 14 pages, including the abstract (and an English abstract, for papers in Portuguese), figures, diagrams, and references. Papers must be formatted following the SBC template.

The Technical Program Committee will announce the best papers during the event, and the authors will be awarded a certificate and prize. Authors of the best papers will be invited to submit extended versions to the Journal of Internet Services and Applications (JISA) or Transactions on Network and Service Management (TNSM), by author's choice.

Instructions to Industry Paper Authors

Authors are invited to submit expanded abstracts presenting projects and applications of blockchain technology in Portuguese or English, containing up to 2 pages. Optionally, authors can include a link to a video demo of the proposal in the expanded abstract. The proposals accepted according to the recommendations of the Program Committee will be invited for presentation in the IV WBlockchain and the abstracts published in the Annals of the SBRC, in the volume of workshops.

The expanded abstracts format must follow the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC) model, available in Templates for Articles and Book Chapters. Submissions will be electronic via the JEMS system on the SBRC portal. The file must be in PDF (Portable Document Format) format.
