PAINEL 4 - Security and Privacy on 5G networks

The 5G revolution is unprecedented in human society. Technology will move from a means of exchanging messages between humans to an environment of interaction with the real world, connecting billions of things, talking to each other in control loops and sense, on a scale unimaginable, in a fully connected world.

In this context, this technological disruption of 5G brings improvements in production management processes, logistics, transportation, coordinated by AI or made by industrial robots, personalized medicine, and autonomous vehicles, and improvements in education, security, and several other areas. However, all that creates an important need to keep this digital fabric of the future society safe. Cyber-attacks have increased year by year, and we need to protect this infrastructure, which is being built, and that is critical in some ways.

This panel will aim to pose questions and discussions about important aspects of 5G security and where it can be improved to establish full confidence in this future pervasive system so important in the life of the future Brazilian society.
